I used to live here in Bend, OR- about 20 years ago!  After a variety of experiences including going back to school for Chinese Medicine, I am happy to be back in this beautiful area and look forward to working with you to help you feel your best so you can enjoy life here to the fullest!

I love spending time outdoors like many of you, and am enjoying the activities the different seasons provide- snowboarding, hiking, camping, river fun- I may see you out there!

I studied Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas.  After this I worked for the Texas Center for Reproductive Acupuncture in Austin and San Antonio, providing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine within a western reproductive medicine clinic.   I then moved to Ventura County, California where I had the fortune of working with the Chang Wholistic Clinic, treating all kinds of pain and many other emotional and physical health concerns.

One of my favorite things about this path, in addition to helping people feel better, is the lifelong learning with very talented, caring teachers and mentors.  My desire is to pass on to you the focused presence, deep listening, heart centered care I so appreciated from them along the way.

I love to travel and explore the world- Here's some herbal acupuncture fun in Peru!

The spines of this plant are placed in recent scars. Acupuncture needles can be used in a similar way to break up scar tissue.  In this case, the plant spines also have medicinal properties that speed tissue regeneration and prevent scarring.  Lucky me, as I fell and cut my head just before this trip! Looking good after a few days of "needles."
